TSG Release Challenge

Here is my card for the There She Goes pre Release Party challenge. The challenge was to combine at least 2 sets and you could not just an image from one and a saying from another. It is overcast here and I couldn't get a descent picture. I hope to get a better one tomorrow. For Stamp sets I used Butterfly Happiness, Branching Out, and You're So Punny. For Paper, I used Blanc Leather, Navy Blue Leather, Candino, and Plastic Blue from Paper Temptress. From Butterfly Happiness, I used the grass stamp up side down, and the small and large half butterflies. From Branching Out, I used the tree base, the flower top, and the solid tree top (the clouds). From You're So Punny, I used the squirel and both sayings. I have one more TSG stamp set but it is hiding right now. I added stickles to some of the tree flowers to give them some sparkle.

Friend card

Yeah! I finally got time to stamp. Sorry for the bad pictures. I have forgotten how to take good pictures.
The first one shows the fantastic shine to Silver Lustre. The second shows the colors and texture of the paper better. I used Silver Lustre for the bunny and Red Hot Pop Tones for the base. I colored with Twinkling H2O's and highlighted with gel pens. I used I'd Pick You as the main set and the sun is a stamp in Spring Scene and both are from Sweet N Sassy Stamps.

I will be at There She Goes Release Party. See you tonight. Sorry I can't do a link right now. I have to run and get the kids from school.
Thanks for all the well wishes.

Thoughts

Thanks for the well wishes. This is a busy time of year for Sea Cadets which is a jr. Navy program. I am in charge of getting the paper work together which means lots of forms that need to be typed and printed. I hope to squeeze some craft time in later today cuz I got my new Gina K stamps. I am totally in love with them. If some one wants to come over and ink them up, you are more than welcome.

If you haven't taken advantage of Squigglefly's 1 a day in may, tomorrow is the last day. It is only $30.

If you are not part of Paper Temptress's group on PCP, join up because coming in May is some delicious paper. I can't wait to get my hands on it.

Christine Vick you have till Thursday morning to email (anitamocha@sbcglobal.net)me so I can get some goodies sent to you.

Have a great day!
God Bless!

Yellow gift bag

Stamps and Smile started a new challenge called Project Tuesday. I had gotten some new sparkle paper from Target. The paper is 12 x 12. This project uses 1 sheet of 12 x 12. The bag is called Double Pocket. You can get the directions here.

I used images from Squigglefly. I used the new Baby Set. It is amazing. You get 44 images and it is only $9.99. I love that Squigglefly gives you images that are left and right. The other neat thing about the images are in two formats. One is jpeg which is your typical photo and the second is png which is great for Photoshop programs.

Japanese House

Ok I need help to finish this card. This house is a digital image fromSquigglefly. I colored with Twinkling H2O's and chalked the background. The flowers were stamped from Thinking of You set from Flourishes.
I want to add a saying with this house. The only thing that comes to mind is my house is your house but I can't find a way to make the saying in Japanes. I know the spanish version but that won't help. If you know how to translate it, could you help me? Also, if you can come up with something else, I would love it.

Get Well

I was lucky to win Hospital Hanna from Hanna's last release. Thanks Kristi. The picture is off. I would try to take another picture but I already sent the card. I stamped some of the accesories to the pink paper. I used Astrobright Yellow Textured as the base. The other papers are Basis Pink and Berrylicious Pop Tones. I colored using my SU markers.

Pink Garden

I used SCS sketch 225 for the layout. I got a chance to make another card with Pezzy's garden. I just love this stamp. Can you tell? I added Pez A Bling to the center of the flowers. Pez A Bling is a new embellishments that Pez A Doodle has. It comes in some wonderful mixes and individual colors. I colored with gel pens and chalk. I used Basis Magenta, Basis Yellow, and Heavenly White Ultrasmooth from Paper Temptress.

Garden Stamp

Welcome to Pez A Doodles blog hop. Pezzy's Garden 1 is the third stamp being released today. Go to Grechens's for the next stop in the blog hop. The first card is done to showcase the stamp. I colored with Twinkling H2Os. The saying is from H&M Stamps. The second card is using the stamp as background to Polkadot Pie Lovelys with Pezzy and Picnic Bug 1. Pezzy was stitting on hearts and I just cut around her. I printed everything on Sparkle cardstock from Paper Temptress. The card base is Plastic Blue. I wish you could feel this paper. It has wonderful texture. I stamped the swirlys with versamark than used Heat n Stick embossing powder from SU. I then covered the base with glitter.

Pink Butterfly page

I have decided to get back to scrapbooking which is what I did before I learned about cardmaking. I have extra photos and I just couldn't throw them away so I decided to make mini scrapbooks for my niece and nephew for Christmas. I know I can't believe I am thinking this far ahead. This page shows my niece and my daughter. I just love this photo. The layout was last weeks Erika's scrapbook challenge on Stamp TV. I printed the quote and banner from by computer. The title uses Studio G flower stamps on the background. I used a template to cut the letters. I stamped 2 Studio G and then cut them out. The title fits a challenge on the Studio G group.

Purple Clouds

This one of the free images from Dustin Pike. I am just in love with his dragons. I am on a purple streak. I will try to make something with out purple in it. I was talking to friends about coloring images in other than normal colors. When I wanted to make this dragon into a card, I thought about clouds and decied to make purple clouds. I made this card for the Dare 2 U Digi Stamp Challenge which was to use bling. What could be more bling than sparkly purple clouds. I used the cloud stamps in Spring Scenes from Sweet n Sassy Stamps.

Purple Thinking of You

This a rare occasion. I actually got a challenge done on the day it is posted. Sweet n Sassy has a Monday DT challenge. This week was to make a Thinking of You card. Now for the details. I used mostly scraps from my craft table. I just love the DP which is SU. The Violet Vellum is from Paper Temptress. I tend to save the scraps from when I punch out shapes. I thought this would be a great way to highlight the flower. The "thinking of you" is from I'd Pick You from Sweet n Sassy. The green buttons are brads that I pick up on clearance. Ok, have you noticed anything odd about the card. Yep, I put everything on the wrong way. The card opens to the left instead of the right.

The basket with the bunny and lines are Studio G stamps.

Chair Sceene

Ok, I am not sure about this card. I think the chairs are too small. I should of used a smaller bird. The yellow behind the bird is fabric. My mom is a quilter and she lets me take her scraps. I am trying to make myself use stuff and not just save it for something special. The DP is SU. Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge this week was to use your favorite set. I choose Chairs for You.

The backfround is vellum embossed with the dots folder. The little pink flower above the Happy Easter is Studio G. Pez a Doodle has a wonderful set of Studio G stamps for an amazing price.

See you tomorrow.

I will be at Flourishes weekly chat with Faith. If you have time, the chat is from 7 pm est to 9 pm east or 4 pm pct to 6 pm pacific time.

Green Easter Bunny

I found the cutest digital images that are free. Dustin Pike has these wonderful images that he has drawn for free and a few images on his Esty site for just $3 each. Go to his blog to see all the fun images. This card is made from my scrap pile. I had a hard time taking this picture because of all the sparkle on the bunny. This bunny became green because when I was coloring other images and I dropped some green on the bunny so I figured I would finish coloring him green. I won Butterfly Happiness from There She Goes Stamps I used the grass stamp from that set. The clouds where made using the tree top from Branching Out from There She Goes Stamps. (http://thereshegoesstore.com/) I tried to hot link the store but for some reason. I tried three times and it wouldn't work so I am giving up.
