OWH Memorial Day Blog Hop

Welcome to the Operation Write Home Memorial Day Blog Hop. The start is Operation Write Home Blog. You will have come from Judy's blog, Creating My Style. The military holds a special place in my heart. My husband served in the Air Force for 8 years. I love being able to make cards for soldiers. It is a little way of thanking them for protecting our country.
Now, onto my projects. The local Air Museum has a big event this weekend. My family helps set up a table for people to sign cards to thank the soldiers. I left the images uncolored so the kids could color themselves.
I decorated this premade mailbox with Designer papers . This image is from Sew Many.
This is the second side. Now head on to Joy's blog, Dusty Penny. Have a great weekend!

Cousins

It is time for another Nuts About Sketches. I choose to use the photos of my niece and nephew and my kids. I seem to be stuck when I sit down to do the journaling. I wanted to show case that no matter how many photos we take. My son has the permanent teenage scowl and the others just are hams for the camera. I notice that as I look at the page that the space above the title looks empty. I am not sure what I am going to add to the page. The page base is 12 x 12 Basis Light Blue. I used Red Ruche 12 x 12 as my accent paper.

Yum

Digi Shack has this new image drawn my Marlene. He is just so cute. The layout is using this weeks Digi Shack sketch. The cake is a Sweet n Sassy stamp.

Catch me If you can

This cute image is from Phindy's Place. The story behind this guy is that the chat was talking about misplacing items or having internet problems or other stuff, it was said that the gremlin did it. The PCP group told Phindy to draw the gremlin for us. I just love his expression. Since he is imaginary creature, I colored him green with bright yellow hair for fun. I printed him on my favorite Sparkle Blanc. The challenge this week for Phindy's challenge is April flowers bring May flowers. The challenge is to create any way you feel that fits this theme. Jelly Belly Green Pop Tones mats the SU DP and image. The saying was printed from my computer.
